The Positive Effect Of Learning Foreign Language

..Assalamualaikum w.b.t..

Hello everyone, today I want to share 4 all of you about  benefit of learning foreign language.I like learning arabic language and korean language. In today's global society, people are well aware of the more obvious advantages of learning a foreign language for college students, young job seekers and world travelers. Educational literature also abounds regarding the advantages of being bilingual from childhood. Learning a foreign language also brings other, less evident but equally beneficial advantages. These advantages can positively influence your health and family relations, bringing benefits to the young and mature foreign language learner alike.

Brain Fitness

Recent medical studies bring attention to the positive effects learning a foreign language has on the health of the human brain. Studies by York University of Alzheimer's patients demonstrated that those who were bilingual had a significant delay in the onset of the disease compared to their monolingual counterparts. Other studies concerning the health of monolingual and bilingual patients' brains showed that the effects of dementia were less advanced in bilingual patients even though their brains showed more brain damage as a result of the disease.

Job Preservation

Knowledge of a foreign language is equally useful for maintaining employment, particularly in industries where companies look to relocate business or expand into other markets. This is because downsized or outsourced employees who speak the language of the country where the company plans to relocate can gain an advantage in the race to be appointed to a post in the new location. Knowledge of the language of the region where your company is expanding into new markets can make you indispensable to the success of the business as you bridge the cultural gap between the two locations.

Family Ties and Networks

Knowing a foreign language can help keep your extended family intact while also expanding your network of contacts. For example, if your family came to the United States during World War II from Germany, you may also have family members who remained in Germany and others who migrated to places like Argentina and Chile; therefore knowing Spanish and German will help you stay in contact with those family members and will also be useful in conducting any genealogical research about your ancestry. On social networking sites, members speak many languages and live all over the globe; knowing another language permits you to reach people who would not necessarily be in your network due to the difference in language. This enlarges the geographical scope of your relationships and enables you to expand your business and personal contacts.

Additional Compensation

Some employers are willing to offer additional compensation to employees who have verifiable foreign language competency, particularly if such languages are in high demand like Arabic, Urdu or Farsi. For example, the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Language Services Section is dedicated to providing linguists across the law enforcement community to offer translation and other language services. The FBI has developed a special program -- Foreign Language Incentive Pay -- that awards additional compensation to employees who have certified foreign language proficiency in critical foreign languages.
That's all from me,thank you.

GIANT SQUID CAPTURED,FILMED FOR THE FIRST TIME

Assalamualaikum w.b.t..

Hello everyone,Today I want to share 4 all of you about GIANT SQUID that found in Tokyo. This news

The first photographs of a live giant squid were made with automated cameras attached to fishing lines baited with squid and bags of mashed shrimp

December 22, 2006—Like pulling a shadow from the darkness, researchers in Japan have captured and filmed a live giant squid—likely for the first time—shedding new light on the famously elusive creatures.
Tsunemi Kubodera, a scientist with Japan's National Science Museum, caught the 24-foot (7-meter) animal earlier this month near the island of Chichijima, some 600 miles (960 kilometers) southeast of Tokyo ).
His team snared the animal using a line baited with small squid and shot video of the russet-colored giant as it was hauled to the surface.
The squid, a young female, "put up quite a fight" as the team attempted to bring it aboard, Kudobera told the Associated Press, and the animal died from injuries sustained during the capture.
Giant squid, the world's largest invertebrates, are thought to reach sizes up to 60 feet (18 meters), but because they live at such great ocean depths they have never been studied in the wild.
Kubodera has spent three years searching for the creatures, and his team scored a coup in 2004 when it used a remote underwater camera to take the first-ever photographs of a live giant squid.
The capture may be a sign that giant squid are more plentiful than had been thought, Kubodera said, and the event could help open up more fruitful research into the poorly understood animal.
"Now that we know where to find them, we think we can be more successful at studying them in the future," he said.

This extraordinary image, captured by Japanese scientists, marks the first-ever record of a live giant squid in the wild. The mysterious deep-sea creature has inspired countless sea monster tales and a variety of scientific expeditions.

The giant squid was photographed off the Ogasawara Islands, southeast of Japan.

How To Memorize Al-Quran Effectively..=]

..Assalamualaikum..w.b.t..

Today  I want to share 4 all my friends how to memorize Al quran effectively..
here are some ways that I found in internet..
1.  Sincerity. The first matter you have to pay attention to is your intention (if you intend good you will get good). Make sure that the intention you are making is only for the sake ofAllāh SWT,  to seek His Pleasure so that inshā'Allāh, with His Mercy, we will be rewarded in the Aakhirah. It is not to show off in front of others that you have memorized a lot. Sincerity is not a one time factor rather it's a continual battle that you always have to renew.
2.  Consistency . The more frequently you memorize, the easier it becomes. It is very essential to be consistent, and not to skip even one dayThere is no Week-end in worship. The bare minimum that one should memorize is at least 3 lines, 5 is more ideal. If you are consistent, inshā'Allāh, you will be able to be huffadh in 5-6 years
3.  Timing. The first thing you should do in the day is memorize – even do so before your breakfast, because this is your spiritual breakfast. The best time to memorize is right after Fajr. . (sh. Yasir used to take one hour to memorize a page in the beginning, and eventually came down to 15-20 minutes)
4.  Atmosphere. Have a secluded place to go to and memorize in a place that is quiet. You just can't memorize properly with distractions, so turn off all your devices (like cell phones)
5.  Familiarity: start at the same time, at the same place and use the same mushaf every day. You need to have your own copy of the Mushaf (the Madani Mushaf is highly recommended), it will later become so dear to you.
6.  No Magic trick: repeat, repeat, repeat, over and over again. It is just repetitive recitation and/or listening that will help to memorize.
7. Memorize with the meaning: read the translation before you start and try to match the Arabic words with their meanings
8. Surround yourself with recitation: listen to the Qur'an. Before you start memorize, listen to what you are about to memorize. Sh. Husary is highly recommended (see here the best resources to help you memorize)
9.  Find a recitation buddy: get a friend, a family member or someone you know who will listen to your recitation every day. Ideally, get someone who is also memorizing to create a peer pressure system.
10.  Recite daily in your ṣalāh what you have memorized. If you forget one portion, you will immediately rush towards the Qur'an and correct your mistake and you will never do this mistake again.
11. Triple daily dose:
a)     New memorization at your assigned time of the day
b)    Revision of the previous 7 days, just before you start the new memorization: This is because the fastest thing you forget is the new memorization. And doing so, will also build the connector between the old ones and the new portion you are going to memorize. Plus, it will be a good warm up for the brain when you recall from your memory and recite, before you go into the real exercise of doing the new memorization.
c)     At a later/another time of the day, revise those before the recent 7 days. The bare minimum should be 4-5 pages.
12. Do not jump around. Be consistent. Don't try to go to another surah if you find it difficult and stick to the order. That way, you will have the satisfaction of having completed a juz rather than leaving some portions here and there.
13.  The three chunks. Start from the back. Shorter surahs will bring you a big boost. You should divide the memorization of the Qur'an in three parts:
a)     Juz 28, 29, 30 or just Juz 29, 30
b)    Surah Al-Kahf till Juz 28
c)     Surah Al-Baqara to Surah Al-Kahf
Based on my research findings,Iwould say that there are some ways to memorize Al- Quran effectively. This in information was retrieved from http://muslimmatters.org/2009/10/27/13-steps-to-memorize-the-quran-by-yasir-qadhi/..Ihope you will  follow the steps..Bye..
